Managing Director Max Rösle welcomed around 350 invited guests from many sectors of society, business and politics to RP5 to celebrate the grand opening of SNG’s new flagship in the state capital of Lower Saxony. RP5 is opened to the public from 18 June.
With two casinos, a 300-person capacity multi-purpose event and function area, two top restaurants and a professional business lounge, RP5 offers a huge variety of different – and above all new – combinations of entertainment options. As Rösle confirmed in his welcoming speech: “The RP5 motto is Born to Entertain and the venue stands for thrills, fun and something quite extraordinary”.
“There’s something for everyone in RP5,” said Rösle. “Classic casino entertainment in a glamorous setting under a sparkling modern chandelier set with thousands of Swarovski crystals and with a 17-meter long bar in the Casino Royale. Las Vegas style fun in the more casual Casino Légère. Dinner shows, musicals, poker tournaments, concerts, company events and much more in the event and function area. We are also particularly proud of our top class dining facilities. Our Prachtstück Restaurant is a real gem and focuses on the so-called prime beef segment, while the Cocino Restaurant offers contemporary, light Mediterranean cuisine.”
Casinos Austria International CEO Paul Herzfeld expressed his delight in the new entertainment complex: “We are proud to have given the city of Hanover such an important new entertainment venue and are certain that RP5 will help to attract even more visitors to the area. All our latest operations combine casino gaming with a full range of other leisure options like restaurants, event areas and conference facilities, so we are confident that this concept will be equally successful in Hanover.”
With a total of 10 gaming tables and around 200 cutting edge gaming machines, the exciting gaming facilities are spread over two different levels in RP5. The complete complex, in which SNG has invested around 26 million euro, covers three levels. Some 140 professional staff will be on hand to ensure that the customer is always king in RP5’s gastronomy, gaming and event facilities.
Max Rösle is convinced that embedding the core business in this trend-setting concept is definitely the way to go and is the perfect response to changing customer demands in the entertainment sector. RP5 also provides Hanover with a new entertainment complex worthy of a state capital. “RP5 is a further building block in the urban regeneration concept to increase the attractiveness of the city of Hanover,” noted Rösle.
