The firm revealed that it is providing the outlets with a full range of best-of-breed sports betting solutions and services including its MarginMaker platform, World Till EPoS and STOS Display solutions platform alongside professional services such as odds compilation, risk management and marketing support.
The Bet Arena Cafe chain is owned by Romanian billionaire Dinu Patriciu with venues being opened alongside the proprietor’s Mic.ro Retail food stores in Bucharest and throughout the country in a bid to dominate the nation’s sports betting business, which is estimated to be worth more than €200 million a year.

Gtech G2 plans to have installed its sports betting solution in 400 Bet Arena Cafe venues by the end of 2012 focused primarily on soccer but also including other major European and US sports. The firm has also secured first refusal rights in providing the chain with interactive sports betting as well as the other products from its interactive portfolio.
