(Angola).- Casinos de Angola, through its operator Plurijogos, is committed to investing us$ 55 million over the next three years to promote the gambling and entertainment industry in Angola.

Part of this investment will be used to promote the country's cultural, entertainment and leisure activities, while the main goal is to bolster Angola's image abroad.

"Today, Casinos de Angola aims to position itself as the launching pad for tourism and contribute to a positive image of Angola abroad and the lifestyle that the country can provide to foreigners," the company said. "Blessed by a warm all-year-round climate, cultural diversity and robust economic growth, Angola is in a strong position to clinch a piece of the global tourism market. The nation is rebuilding infrastructure to satisfy demand for the tourism sector.

"Our strong bet on the tourism industry is in line with the Angolan government's strategy to promote the sector."
