The interest of the developers to carry through this complex in Ontiñena is clear, because next June they will execute the third and last payment of the purchase option to the owners of the land where Gran Scala will be located, the best leisure and entertainment center in Europe.

The Adviser of Industry, Commerce and Tourism of Aragon government, Arturo Aliaga, has said that “ILD must now bring the 12 documents indicated in article II of the Law of High Capacity Leisure Centers in Aragón”. According to the law, this complex could be declared a Project of Special Interest, if it complies with three premises: the occupation of more than 1,000 hectares, the creation of 3,000 employments and 8000 hotel vacancies”.

The team of the government PSOE-PAR of Aragon government is still the great  defender of this project due to the dimension it would have not only in Ontiñena, but also in Bajo Cinca and Los Monegros. In this sense, the Adviser remarked that “with 96.000 unemployed people in Aragón, it would be a lack of political responsibility not to bet on an investment project that will generate employment.”

Finally, the Adviser was convinced that this project is still firm, and that it has not devaluated and “despite it is being delayed, promoters should have a margin of trust, because this kind of projects require time to grow”.
