Under the terms of the agreement, Gran Casino Aranjuez will create a dedicated Victoria zone with 21 screens featuring sporting events and odds, taking Victoria’s total locations to over 210 sports betting points in Madrid and the Basque country, the only two Spanish regions to have so far regulated the activity.
Speaking at the signing of the agreement, Ángel Chaves, Director of Gaming at Gran Casino Aranjuez, lauded the continued growth of entertainment offerings at the casino, citing the Victoria deal as a new benchmark for the Spanish gaming sector.
Gerardo González, Director of Partner Relations at Codere, added: "With this agreement, we have managed to integrate sports betting in the beautiful setting of Gran Casino Aranjuez. With the addition of Victoria Apuestas as an ideal complement to the wide range of leisure and entertainment already on offer, Gran Casino Aranjuez is positioned as a comprehensive leisure complex, the largest in Europe.”
The Gran Casino Aranjuez was opened in 2005 by Spain’s Comar, which owns 25 casinos in Spain, Dominican Republic and Czech Republic, as well as bingo halls and gaming arcades.
