Which are Seeben’s main objectives in the short-term?
Obtaining homologation for the new products in which we are currently working on. This is important for us, but also growing in markets like Latin America is a priority.

Which are the principal markets for Seeben?
In South America, the most important market was Venezuela, but due to the stop of import licenses, there are no sales at the moment, so the growing markets for us in Latin America are Mexico, Panama, Argentina, Peru, Costa Rica,  Suriname, the Caribbean Islands, etc…We are selling new products in Europe; the sale of second-hand casino machines are more focused in Latin America, Africa, Europe and a bit in Asia.

How do you see the Latin American market? What’s its potential?
Latin America is a very important and growing market for Seeben; every year our sales  increase in this region; once people know our company and the quality we deliver, they always come back to us. It is a huge continent and in the near future probably other nations in South America will allow machines, and starting markets are always interested in young and good second-hand equipment.

Which trends do you observe in the gaming industry nowadays?
More and more regulated markets, which is good for the gambling industry in general. This industry becomes more and more professional; there is not much space left for grey markets, what is very positive for companies and also for players.

Are you thinking in launching new products in the near future?
We are working closely with an European company on a VLT platform for Latin America and we have already very good contacts with important companies in some Latin American countries. In the next coming months we will have the first products ready. In Europe, these products have already proven their quality and now we are adapting the software for Latin America.

Which are the characteristics of your products?
We are manufacturers of Bingo machines in Belgium, where we have a good position on the market. We adapted this product for the Spanish market, where they are being tested, and test results are very good, so we should receive homologation very soon. We are now writing software for two other countries, where we are testing it and sales will start in some months. The VLT product is in collaboration with a company which is having a serious market share in Europe; more news about this will follow in the next coming months.

Did your close new distribution or sales deals recently? What do they consist of?
In Belgium we closed a deal with Amaya Gaming Group from Montreal Canada for their Texas Holdem poker table Pokermate, which we distribute in Belgium. We received Homologation for this machine the first week of May and already sold 37 units; demand is still growing.

In which trade events will you participate this year? Which are your expectations for them?
We will be present at the most important shows in the Americas and Europe; we do not have a stand at the upcoming shows because we prefer to wait until our new products are totally finished before presenting them to the public.
