Which is the balance of Konami’s presence in FADJA?
As it happened last year, it was very good. We received the visit of the main Colombian operators, as well as from Panama, Puerto Rico and Peru, so, despite being mostly from Colombia, we could attend other markets in which we are also present.
What products did you present?
We are now introducing Podium, which is the new cabinet we launced in Las Vegas and Europe (IGE) this year and we are starting to introduce it in the Latin American market as well. We also exhibited the other models of products, such as Advantage 5. We are also lauching games constantly, so we brought what the operators have not seen here yet.
Which has been the feedback of the visitors?
The public is quite happy because this is an opportunity to have the products. Although the main customers have already seen our products in other events, now we have the chance to sit calmly and have a more dedicated attention with local customers. They are happier and the result is good for both parts.
Konami image has grown considerably and the firm has achieved to position in the region. Which is your balance on the matter?
We are quite happy with the result. Our commercial year concluded last March 30th and expectations of the aims we planned for Konami were exceeded, so the gaming group of Konami is very happy.
Besides, since last year, we have agreements with all the offices we need and we have the region completely covered: from Argentina to Mexico. With this, we bring more guarantees to the customer.
Today we can say that most operators have our products and the results and the performance is very good. Customers are very happy with the products, that are innovative and different, someting that was necessary for the market.
How do you see the Colombian market in general?
The market is going well, despite the crisis that is affecting everyone. We will assist to Mexico, too, to present our products. Unlike last tear, we almost tripled the space we had. In 2009 we did good business and this year we are already well established, so we thought the investment was worthy.
