“FADJA 2010 has been busier with regards to the number of visitors”

Which is the balance of this presentation in FADJA?
It has been quite positive. We have had almost 20 people interested in the progressive P-Box system, with the new TV system developed for Latin America with NTSC platform, a product that has caught the attention due to the football worldwide cup. There are many people interested in the new cabinets we are asseembling with Octavian kits. Compared to the previous year, this event has been busier with regards to the number of people that has come.

And with regards to the quality of visitors?
Excellent. Very good visitors. There was people from everywhere: Mexico, Guatemala, Panama, Ecuador and Peru.

How do you think the Colombian issue affects the sector?
There has been a restriction of investments because operators have been deeply affected. So the purchase intention of new machines has been reduced in the first months of the year. Now there a little increment. The result has not been very favourable and we are considering the possibility to offset it with the sale of kits, because our kit is cheaper than others, and the progressive system goes with the same machines.

In general, Which has been the feedback of the public?
It has been very positive. They have been very interested in the issue of the television broadcasting and in the new games we are handling. This year we launch Cosmo Era and Paris Paris.

What does the TV system consist of?
TV signs based in the Latin American system can be received, which is different from the European system. Also the DirecTV sign or from any other local TV can be received to watch the channels that broadcast the matches, as well as other signs. It is a common TV system.

And where does this apply to?
It is applied to the progressives, the machines that are connected to progressive systems.

Fabian Grous, general manager of Octavian Argentina, explained: “The aim is to avoid that, for example, during the football matches, people stops going to casinos.
