The novelty here at FADJA is the new relationship TransAct-Hanco. When did you start working together?
We’ve officially partnered with Hanco Gaming as our distributor for Latin America. We are very excited about our new relationship with Hanco and the expanded opportunities for TransAct business in Latin America. It is a really exciting time for both TransAct and for Hanco.

Is it the first time you are exhibiting together in a trade show?
Yes, FADJA is our first show together.  We will be displaying TransAct products moving forward including the Epic 950, Epic 880 and ServerPort with our new distribution partner in the Hanco stand at the upcoming ELA tradeshow as well.  The products have been very well accepted and we see some great opportunities in the Latin American markets.

Which are the markets or the countries in Latin America in which TransAct is more interested in?
We are excited about all of the Latin American markets.  At the moment, we are looking at Colombia, Peru, Panama, Argentina, Chile and Mexico with an expanding focus moving forward.

How do you see the show? Was it positive for you?
Yes, the FADJA tradeshow has been very positive. We are getting a lot of interest in both the Epic 950 and Epic 880 products with some good opportunities in the near future. So we are really happy to be partnering with Hanco at tradeshows.

You told me you are planning to go to ELA in Mexico. Are you planning to go to other shows in Latin America, like Panama, Buenos Aires?
Yes, we are planning to do SAGSE in Buenos Aires. FADJA, ELA and SAGSE are the three of the most important events for this year. FADJA has been great for us. It’s a key show for the Andean region. It’s been fantastic, due to the quality of the visitors. In addition, it has been really good for TransAct to get a better understanding of the market, the operators and the region.

Did you have the chance to meet operators from other countries?
Yes, we have. We’ve met many operators from different parts of Latin America. It has been very exciting to visit many of the properties here and we look forward to working with them in the near future.
