CET has license from the Lottery of the Province of Cordoba, Society of the State, to operate slots.
In a separate five-year contract, CET will hire up to a thousand terminals manufactured by Atronic and Spielo, Lottomatica subsidiaries; 500 of which will be installed on the following 12 months. 500 additional machines might be supplied in the following four years, at CET discretion.
In total, it is expected that these contracts generate combined income for Gtech of approximately us$ 6,972,530 at the beginning of the fourth quarter 2010. The games of chance’s solution division of Lottomatica, with Gtech support, will operate together with CET in order to expand the current operation of 3,000 terminals and 19 jurisdictions.
“As long as the games of chance program of terminals in Cordoba region expands, the Lottomatica Group end-to-end technology solution will bring CET a high-performance and secure central system and EGMs,” said Gtech VP of Games of Chance Solutions, Víctor Duarte. “The capacity of Intelligen central system to monitor central and remotely thousands of games of chance terminals in multiple jurisdictions will allow CET to expand its program in an efficient and racional way, while our portfolio of games proven by players, will offer their customers captivating games as well as excepcional entertainment,” he added.
“Today’s announcement is also important with regards to what the arrival of Lottomatica Group represents for the games of chance systems’ market in South America,” concluded Duarte.
Under the terms of the contract of the system, which includes two extension options of two years, Gtech will install its latest Intelligen central system together with its Module of Added Value of Advanced Commercial Intelligence. The company will also provide continuous services to CET including operation, administration of the site and maintenance of the system, which is expected to be operational for the beginnings of 2011.
