How do you see Colombian market? Do you think that the new rules could affect you?
The Colombian market is slow, and we obviously know that the reason is the initiative that the government has taken with ETESA. Many restrictions have been introduced. The smaller operator, which moves a great number of machines, is waiting for a final resolution, in order to decide if he invests or if he keeps on waiting.

Which is CashCode policy, in this context?
We assist to FADJA to bring support to the current customers, the strong ones. Obviously, casino operators have a well-established regulation and they are not affected by the new initiative taken with ETESA.

What did you present in FADJA? Which were your novelties?
We brought the CashCode One validator that we have presented in Las Vegas show. It is 100% universal and flexible. It manages all the protocols existing in the market except one,
in which we are already working, with the aim to incorporate it. Besides, of the ones we have in other validators, this one has a new technology. It is an ultraviolet sensor. Its advantage is that the bills have certain characteristics of security that are just read with an ultraviolet light. I think that, so far, we are the only ones in the market with this type of sensor. It is an additional security we bring to the user to avoid problems with fake bills.
We also brought for the first time to the Colombian market a set that includes the bill validator model One, incorporating a Nanoptix printer; both devices are communicated between each other. Through certain codes, we can reproduce the latest five bills that have been introduced to the validator, and make a report that indicates the validation features, why was a bill rejected, how many bills were introduced, how many have been obstructed, etc. It means, they bring a complete diagnosis on the performance of the validator in real time, as well as the diagnosis and identification of the printer with which it communicates. These devices work with TITO system, which is still in its initial phase in Colombia, but is good that people prepares for it.

How do you define the response from customers and visitors to the event?
The user is interested in the new technology, the new products and the security. That’s why the feedback of the mentioned set has been positive, despite TITO system is in its initial stage here. However, some customers from Argentina and Chile have been quite interested, too.
