Octavian to showcase Symphony CE casino system, P-Box and OctaVideo jackpot solution at FADJA 2010

Since its release in 2009, Symphony CE has attracted wide international appeal and has been selected as the ‘system of choice’ in government-mandated applications in both Latin America and worldwide. Added Ortiz: “This is a modular, affordable and easily upgradeable system that casino operations of all sizes can harness to drive efficiency, revenue and profitability – at a single site or across a network of venues. As well as rich core functionality, there is built-in functionality such as TITO, cashless, player tracking and jackpots that can be activated and customised to match each casino operator’s precise needs.”

P-Box is Octavian’s progressive jackpot solution to connect EGMs at a single venue. P-Box technology allows operators to set individual parameters to suit their business needs, such as jackpot type, maximum value and percentage contribution. The system draws simultaneous Normal and Mystery progressive jackpots whilst enabling the notification of current jackpot status and hits through the OctaVideo display system or traditional information signs.

OctaVideo displays video messages and is able to show live jackpot information from Octavian and other selected vendors’ jackpot systems, whilst running live cable or satellite broadcasts and commercials – subject to legislation and licences. It can operate at a single site or across multiple venues but managed and configured remotely from a central point and works to develop customer interest on the gaming floor.

Alongside these systems, Octavian will showcase a number of its top performing games titles including new releases Paris Paris and Cosmo Era as well as its perfectly packaged game kits – complete with board and games software to bring a fresh look to the floor at a lower cost.
