Intralot secures sports betting facility in Rome
Under the company’s moniker “Play, where people play”, Intralot Italia will offer customers fixed odds betting via points of sale in key positions within the stadium, starting on April 11th at the league game between Roma and Atalanta.
The agreement also includes the development and implementation of further promotional activities within the Foro Italico sports complex where the stadium is situated, including additional sporting events such as the Internazionali BNL Tennis Championship of Italy.
Intralot Italia holds licenses to operate fixed odds betting on sports events via a retail network of more than 600 outlets as well as via the internet.
Rome’s famous Stadio Olimpico hosted the opening and closing ceremonies of the 1960 Olympic Games and also hosted the 1990 Football World Cup final.
