The operation, agreed by Enjoy y Salguero Hotels Chile S.A. last February, was subject to a due dilligence project that concluded satisfactory. Enjoy acquired part of Salguero Hotels Chile S.A. through a contribution of capital of us$ 29.6 million to this society, which requires the approval of the Casino Superintendence. The total operation had a cost of almost us$ 55 million.
The total investment of the project, since the construction was started, is calculated in around us$ 130 million, including the modifications that will be performed to adapt the project to Enjoy standards.
The company recently announced an increment of the capital for us$ 31,371,600 to finance this investment, which will have to be approved by an extraordinary shareholders meeting, at the end of April.
Enjoy General Manager, Javier Martínez, commented that "this operation increases Enjoy leadership in the industry and adds an important vale to our shareholders.” He added: "Our customers in Santiago and its surroundings will have the offer of Enjoy chain closer, and the customers of the whole country will be able to take advantaje of the sinergias that the chain will generate.”
Casino Rinconada, that was closed since the earthquake last February 27th, will reopen its doors next April 1st with the same offer that was already in force: 200 slots, 13 table games, 200 bingo positions, a restaurant buffet, cafeteria, bar and a hall for events and parties. In the medium-term, it will increase its slots to 1,200 and its table games to 40.
On top of the casino, the full project includes, a five-star hotel, three restaurants, three pubs, four cafeterias, a disco and show hall, spa and gym, two swimming pools, a convention center, a business center, two tennis courts, stables, trekking, mountain climbing and parking space for 2,000 cars.
Casino Rinconada –and then the complete project- is also included to the ones operated by Enjoy within the country in Antofagasta, Coquimbo, Viña del Mar, Santa Cruz, Pucón and Puerto Varas, as well as the venue in Mendoza, Argentina.
