She has also worked with major industry brands including EMAP Communications and Reed Exhibitions.

Commenting on the appointment, Julian Graves said: “Our role as organisers of the most influential event in the gaming industry calendar is to continue to deliver our customers with the best business event of the year held in the best central London location and delivered by the very best organising team.”

Reflecting on her new role and the challenges ahead, Kate Chambers commented: “Over a very short period of time I have been able to meet with a number of IGE’s leading exhibitors, to take stock of IGE’s current standing in the market and to share in the enthusiasm of taking the exhibition to the next level in its development. Looking at the show from a professional perspective the previous teams have been highly successful in putting together a vibrant, truly international event which even in difficult times has delivered for its exhibitors. Clearly there are some really exciting opportunities to take the exhibition forward with a fresh perspective, new inspiration and a commitment to work with the industry in everything that we do.”
