The loss was driven by us$ 101 million of provisions associated with a non-prosecution agreement with US authorities.
The group said profit from operating activities rose 4% to us$ 81.1 million. The drop in revenue was due to a decline in its poker business, which was partly offset by stronger revenue from casino games and bingo.
PartyGaming said its performance in the first two months of 2010 have continued to be in line with the board's expectations.
