Gtech promotes Mattew Whalen to Senior VP of Global Technology Solutions

As Senior Vice President of Global Technology Solutions, Whalen is responsible for all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, software development, implementations, customer acceptance, and ongoing software services for Gtech’s global customer base. Whalen and his team are also charged with delivering innovative, competitively-priced products and solutions that place the customer first, ultimately strengthening its position as an industry leader.

Whalen joined Gtech in 1994 as a software engineer and held roles of increasing responsibility over the next 16 years. Most recently, Whalen served as Vice President of Global Technology Solutions, where his team supplied the necessary technology solutions to support crucial customer extensions both domestically and internationally.

Whalen holds a B.S. in Computer Information Systems from the College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York. He earned an Applied Associate’s Degree in Science, with a major in Computer Science, from the State University of New York at Morrisville.
