There can no longer be any doubt regarding the enormous potential of the Mexican market, which will be reinforced with the introduction of "Mexican Class" slots, equivalent to those known elsewhere as "Class III" slots, with the corresponding boom in commercial and business opportunities. This surge in the Mexican market will be reflected in the 3rd edition of the Mexican Gaming Exhibition - ELA, to be held in Mexico City over 6-7 May next at Centro Banamex.
ELA is set moreover to break the general trend in gaming fairs held over the past year, all of which have recorded drops in exhibitor and visitor numbers, as is the case of G2E Las Vegas, IGE London and SAGSE Buenos Aires. Breaking with this tendency, the organisers of ELA 2010 have already had to increase the exhibition area 5 times, to make room for all those wishing to participate.
Absolutely all the major slot manufacturers will be present, along with the biggest Latin-American companies operating in Mexico. Online application for accreditation has also increased over last year. Once more, ELA will have the political support of the Mexican Association of Gaming Licensees (APJSAC), who will have their own stand.
As in the two former editions, all signs point to ELA being the venue for big deals - ultimately the main aim of these events. ELA 2010 is the must-be-there fair for all those interested in doing big business and getting to grips with the Mexican gaming.
