The envelopes for the casino tender process to be opened today in Paraguay

La Gloria Hotelería required a new series of questions before the act in which the envelopes for the tender process will be opened, or the call to a public audience with the bidders.

According to the company, it is evident that the tender process (LPN Conajzar Nº 03/2009) brings a "legal insecurity to the bidders and prevents any serious company with a patrimonial backup from quoting freely with a foreseeable project.”

The company also mentions a lack of sense from Conajzar, which is proved –according to the firm- in identical cases that were solved in an exactly opposite way, which worsens even more the seriousness of the process.

According to Marchewka, all the questionings presented in the deadline stipulated for the queries have been attended. So, he added, today at 9 the offers of the interested firms will be received, and at 10, the names of the bidders will be released.

In total, eight firms bought the documents: La Gloria; Vouga & Olmedo (on behalf of  Azar Internacional and Casinos Paraguayos); 7 Saltos SA; Monalisa SA; SES SA; Cosmopolitan Club SA; Del Este Inversiones SA and Lácteos Valtellina SRL.
