With eCOGRA, Kahnawake Gaming Commission will launch a new compliance program which will implement third-party audits and operation monitoring for over 50 of its licensees. Named the Continuous Compliance Program, it will conduct ongoing investigations of Kahnawake’s licensees.
Kahnawake and eCOGRA are looking forward to working together on this project, as both organizations place great emphasis on the importance of player safety.
On a yearly basis, the program will determine whether or not they are complying with the regulators rules. Auditors will assess each online casino’s fulfillment of Kahnawake’s three key regulations: restricted access for minors and those living in illegal jurisdictions, fair game outcomes and timely payment of winnings. At the end of each evaluation, there will also be an audit of live gaming data, ensuring that all games are, indeed, randomized.
eCOGRA’s trained staff of chartered accountants have distinct specialization in online gambling operations, and have worked on similar projects for other regulators, including The European Gaming and Betting Association. The program, which was run in 2007, proved that EGBA licensees were living up to proper standards.
