Astro Corp has also made a financial commitment in respect of 9 year fully renewable licences for the terminals. After a successful year, the company is now the largest supplier of AWP’s to the Italian market and its development teams have a deep understanding of the needs and preferences of the Italian player. The firm is keen to build on these successes and sees the VLT product as a natural and logical progression.

With its offering of proven SBG software and ability to deliver targeted profitable games, Astro Corp has created a business model that will be applicable to many other European markets and the company will vigorously pursue these opportunities.

Astro Corp was established in 1993 to initially supply reel-based slot games to regional markets. However, the company soon realised the potential for video technology and refocused to develop video slot and video poker products for amusement and gaming markets worldwide.

In 2004, Astro Corp successfully became the first gaming company to publicly trade on Taisdaq (Stock code 3064) and now supplies over 50 countries through a global network of distributors.
