Aliaga, in response tu an answer made by representative of political party Izquierda Unida (IU), Adolfo Barrena, in the Plenary of the Courts, has said that the government is not doing any procedures to comply with the requirements of Gran Scala promoters with regards to infraestructures of state competence, and will not do ir until it does not enter in the government program in a concrete project.
Barrena, which is against this leisure and gaming complex, has reminded that Gran Scala promoters, the consortium International Leissure Development, have demanded the creation of a road out of the AP-2 highway near Peñalba, the connection with the entrance to the complex and the construction of an AVE station in the south of the park, as well as a connection with airports nearby.
However, ILD has not still presented the necessary documents for the project to be authorized by the Government of Aragon, in compliance of the Law of Leisure Centers of High Capacity, and, until it does not occur, the government will not do any other procedure, Aliaga insisted.
