With the iGaming market in the USA gearing up for liberalisation, GIGSE will provide its delegates with strategic and legal advice to prepare their businesses for various regulatory scenarios and to take full advantage of the emerging opportunities in the most profitable iGaming market in the world, estimated to be worth us$ 13.4 billion by its fifth year, as reported by H2 Gambling Capital.

As the stakes are high, a diverse range of organisations are closely monitoring how events are unfolding in the USA, and GIGSE will offer a unique platform for all key stakeholders to network, make connections, learn and do business. Both existing operators from around the world and new entrants into the online space, such as land-based casinos, tribes and casual games networks, will attend the event, offering a much wider spectrum of interesting business models to learn from and potential venture partners to meet.

With US gaming regulations dominating the industry media, many organisations are looking into ways to take advantage of the expected changes, whether they happen on the federal or state level. Both organisations that have already initiated the entry process (such as Harrah’s, Churchill Downs, PurePlay and PartyGaming), and organisations that are now planning their entry into the US market can benefit from GIGSE – the event will provide knowledge and contacts essential to companies at all stages of the process.

Ewa Bakun, Event Director for GIGSE, comments on this initiative: “The initial industry feedback about GIGSE has been extremely positive, and so has the feeling about the state liberalisation of the North American online gaming market. I would also like to call for all interested organisations and individuals to contact us if they want to get involved or participate in the staging of this exciting event.”

The organisers have also launched an online survey (http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/GIGSE) through which everyone is invited to give their feedback, recommend a speaker or suggest a specific topic for discussion.

GIGSE will take place from 12th to 13th May 2010.
