Guests were treated to a whole host of new products, which were showcased in a genuine casino environment as the Ghostbar was transformed from its usual ultra lounge to an upscale casino. Latest innovations included the introduction of Craps to the revolutionary TouchTable MultiPLAY system. Visitors were literally ‘blown away’ by the technology employed to bring the excitement and action of this fast paced game using life-like on-screen graphics.

The first production ready models of e-FX Insignia were also displayed, making a huge impact on the casino floor. Customer response was overwhelming, with visitor numbers exceeding all expectations. Tracy Cohen Marketing Manager comments, “Our pre-show marketing campaign was very effective with an unprecedented number of customers registering to attend. Interest was extremely high as people were intrigued to see what we were planning, but it is difficult to determine actual results when trying something
new. We realised however, we had a success on our hands when on the first morning we had a line of people waiting to get in before we even opened!”

VIP guests were able to enjoy the Access All Areas experience before they even entered the event. A fleet of limousines were running between The Palms, Las Vegas Convention Centre and the Strip with the AAA Valet girls making sure visitors were taken care of and escorted to the event. After checking in, guests were whisked to the 55th floor where the product showcase was exhibited.

Roger Hawkins, CEO for the Americas comments, “It was absolutely fantastic to see customers reaction as they stepped out the elevators and walked into the event - almost all of them just said WOW! The combination of transforming the room into an upscale casino, as well as providing a relaxed atmosphere proved to be an absolute winner. Nearly everyone commented on how great it was to view the products in beautiful surroundings and spend real quality time with our team without the usual distractions of an exhibition floor. All of that, coupled with probably one of the best views of Las Vegas proved to be a
showstopper.”

Asked whether the company would be holding the Event in 2010, Roger Hawkins responded, “We knew going into the event that interest was high and customers had indicated they were more than happy to attend, however even we were shocked when our visitor numbers on Day One exceeded the total of what we experienced over three days at last year’s G2E. Was it a success? Based on our final numbers and extremely positive feedback from customers we have just secured the venue for next year too, so I would say that speaks for itself!”
