(US, exclusive Yogonet.com).- Yogonet.com interviewed Bosjan Rupnik, Gold Club’s Regional Sales Manager, and Jose Antonio Paternostro, head of Business Link, which represents Gold Club for sales, at recent G2E Las Vegas. They talked about the products that the firm presented at the show, the markets they are focusing and the goals for 2010.

What did Gold Club decide to present in G2E this year?
Bostjan Rupnik: We focused a little bit more in the Latin American markets, in the products we sent to Latin America lately, as we are having very good results with these machines, so this is why we decided to bring demos to the show. For these markets, we focused on slot machines and we also brought table games for Baccarat, Black Jack and Texas Hold’em Poker. We’ve also exhibited a great roulette game that is basically classified as bingo. Beside all this products presented, for us our core business is roulette manufacturing.

And how was the show? What was the feedback from visitors and potential clients?
R: Well, to be honest, I expected less since gaming business is a little bit lower at the moment, but things have been quite well at the show and we focused in new markets in which we are going to push very hard in the future.

Jose Antonio, tell me about your presence here, how are you working with Gold Club and which are the goals for next year?
Paternostro: My firm Business Link has a distribution agreement with Gold Club, we represent them for sales. We are very excited with this partnership and we are concentrating in opening markets in US, the Caribbean, Latin America and making relationships with many of the important clients closer.
My presence has been very active in that sense; we’ve already made some important pre-agreements to work on that presence in US and several countries in Latin America.

And which are the goals for next year?
Po: 2009 has been a rough year, but I believe that with the new markets that we are penetrating, 2010 will be a lot better. I think the perspectives for 2010 are very positive and even though the economy will slowly be getting better, our penetration in the market will be a priority.

How did you see the show this year?
P: Well, I think the show was affected by the crisis; everybody is more cautious on the investments, but I think it is redisigning the business strategies in the industry. We are starting to have presence in the Dominican Republic, and we also are sending equipment to countries like Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru.
