The Italian government decreased the bingo tax system

This percentage will be distributed this way: 7% for the Line; 53% for the Bingo; 6% as a fund for Special Jackpots and 4% for Bingo One. The economic recession that is being experimented in the bingo hall in Italy and that puts in risk the future development of the activity has made the government to intervene in the affair.
The measure will have an experimental character and will be in force within 2010. Afterwards, and based on the results obtained, definitive decisions will be adopted with regards to tax policies on bingos.
Businessmen have reacted positively due to the step given by the government, that is expected to contribute to improve the economic results of the gambling venues.
