Within the XII CIBELAE-WLA Congress, that took place in Santiago de Chile, the Board of Directors of the Latin American Corporation of Lotteries and Bets of the State gathered in a general assembly.
The Board of Directors of the Corporation, comprised by the Lotteries of Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Chile, Ecuador, El Salvador, Spain, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Uruguay and Venezuela, appointed the Association of Lotteries, Pools and Casinos of the state of Argentina, ALEA, as president for a two-year period.
ALEA president and head of the National Lottery of the state, Accountant Roberto Armando López, will be the new president of CIBELAE, and, when he took up the new position, he thanked all the lotteries that are members of the corporation and that backed him, to technicians of the National Lottery and all those who collaborated in the management.
At the General Assembly, it has also been presented the book “Buenas Prácticas en la Gestión de Loterías” (Good practices in lottery management) of the Virtual Community of Process of CIBELAE, it has been approved the model of the “Code of Behaviour and Social Responsibility of the Lotteries,” and planned the new seminars for 2010.
La Polla Chilena was the hostess of the recent XII Congress CIBELAE - WORLD MEET WLA, in which delegates of more than 65 countries assisted to Santiago de Chile, with the aim to share and exchange experiences in the games of chance business.
