Which is the balance you make on the 17th edition of SAGSE Buenos Aires?
I think the “excellent” result of SAGSE 2009 was visible to everyone’s eyes. Usually, with the great number of exhibitors there is always some discontent, but this year everyone was satisfied, both exhibitors and visitors. The exhibitors were satisfied due to the great number of business, and visitors were happy due to the quantity and quality of the products presented.

Which do you think were the main factors to achieve a successful event?
It is difficult to identify the factors that mainly contribute to the success of an event. It is a difficult year worldwide, and it has been maintained a good level of quality and participation, which means that the whole organization has had a great performance.

How did the agreement with G2E and AGA contribute to the organization of SAGSE Buenos Aires?
Surely, the agreement with AGA and AGEM has contributed to strenghten SAGSE image. Anyway, its record has achieved the confidence of these institutions that have accepted to accompany and that are so prestigious worldwide.

How much did the organization of another show in Buenos Aires (MAGIA) affect in SAGSE, a few days before its opening?
The other event performed a few days before SAGSE has not generated any harm, on the contrary, we consider it has contributed to boost our event once more...

The international support was important. How would you qualify the support of the national industry to the event?
The participation of the biggest international and national companies was complete, and the truth is that we have to regret the absense of just two national companies.

How important is the recognition brought by the National Lottery, as institucional support to the event?
The recognition granted by the National Lottery has honoured us and also moved us. We consider it a sign, because the largest national institution needs and backs high-quality events, made with professionalism and ethics.

Why do you think that this year SAGSE achieved to improve its profile of visitors, obtaining a greater number of operators and a more qualified public to previous editions?
The improvement in the quality of the visitors is the result, I would say, of a natural evolution process. The greater positive response to the event, both national and international, generates an improvement in the participation of the public; we also are aware of selecting people that are not directly involved with the gaming sector.

What future improvements would you generate, with regards to this latest experience with SAGSE?
We continue doing our task with the aim to optimize SAGSE, both from the organizacional point of view, as well as from the aesthetic and the security.

Do you think that next year, Buenos Aires will keep on having two events, or could it generate some kind of deal to have one event in Argentina, again?
I think the possibility of two events does not depend on us. We have been organizing SAGSE for 17 years in a row, and those decisions must be taken by the market.
