Rank opens new G Casino in Dundee
The launch of the 2,787 sqm Dundee club brings the number of G Casinos operating in Britain to eight with a further two G Casinos (in Coventry and Sheffield) scheduled to open before the end of the year. Rank recently announced its intention to grow the successful G Casino brand to 20 clubs by the end of 2012.
Rank’s ambition is to broaden the appeal of the casino market in Britain by offering customers a broader range of gaming and non-gaming activities. The new G Casino in Dundee features a modern restaurant, a stylish bar, a sports lounge and one of the largest poker rooms in Scotland as well as a wide range of traditional casino games and gaming machines.
The first G Casino opened in Manchester in 2006. Since then five more G Casinos have been added in Aberdeen, Blackpool, Bolton Luton, Thanet and London’s Piccadilly Circus. In September 2009, Rank launched a new flagship online casino under the brand.
