Spanish bingo halls and casinos refuse access of almost 41,000 people
In Madrid are 8.215 banned people, 4 664 in Catalonia, in Aragon 4 279, 2 489 in Castile and Leon, 1,847 in Valencia, in Murcia 1 288, 805 in Extremadura and 782 in the Canaries. The ban also affects to 649 citizens of the Balearic Islands; 647 of Galicia, 393 of Asturias, 386 of Basque Country and Ceuta, 243 of Navarre, Cantabria 250, 100 of La Rioja and 18 of Melilla.
There are 419 bingo halls in Spain, six less than in 2008 and most of them are concentrated in Andalusia (67), Valencia (66), Madrid (61) and Catalonia (50). These establishments received a total of 3,810,665 visits (27,952 more than in 2007), of which 812,644 corresponding to Catalonia and 724 849 to Madrid.
All over the country, there are 41 casinos, of which 7 are in Canaries and 5 in Andalusia, while Navarre and Castile-La Mancha are the only Spanish autonomous communities without these kinds of premises.
