This approach has been possible due to TCS John Huxley’s ever expanding portfolio, which includes a range of products that are suitable for all types of gaming environments and sectors. Big Tony’s PokerKard table is one such product that was showcased in Buenos Aires at SAGSE. Charnock explained: “This innovative new game is basically a four-player Texas Hold’em table, in which players have the opportunity to take on Big Tony, the self styled ‘King of Poker’, head on or compete against fellow players in 2, 3 or 4 way play.”

He goes on to explain, “This product opens the doors not only to casinos with table games, but also allows us to target slot halls and bingo halls. This is an important factor for a slot-type product, as it allows a similar experience to the live casino environment with players interacting around a table, which customers really like.”

Romano comments: “After experiencing a lot of interest in Costa Rica and Panama, we have now planned to present this product to the rest of Latin America, in particular Peru and Central America.

Among the products presented, the company’s newest chipping machine - Chipper Champ2 also had a prime focus. Charnock comments: “Our latest generation chipper has taken the market by storm, and last year saw the installation of 60 machines in Casino Puerto Madero. There is no doubt, the Chipper Champ is one of the backbones of our range, as we are talking about a product that has been a worldwide market leader for almost 30 years.” Romano adds, “With our most recent sale to Casino Puerto Madero of 22 Chipper Champ plus machines, we have now installed a total of 82 chippers, which very clearly illustrates the casino’s commitment to this product range.”

When asked about the 17º edition of SAGSE, Romano responded: “The show continues to be a very positive and consolidated event, attended by key decision-makers and despite the fact that it was a difficult year globally, visitor numbers were still good.”
