Both expect to boost their strenghts with the alliance, because they will join forces in order to be more competitive. The agreement, that will initially last three years, will serve both companies to share software, network, tables and tournaments.
Executive director of PartyGaming, Jim Ryan, said: “Our agreement with Cirsa is part of our strategy to develop strong B2B operations through alliances with leading companies worldwide. We believe that the combination of Cirsa assets with our online gaming experience will originate a big opportunity for both companies, specially in the Spanish speaking world”.
The agreement signed with Cirsa means another step in their expansion efforts, after the alliance signed with Ladbrokes. This agreement, reached in 2007, included the creation of a joint venture with a 50% of share of each of the companies, in order to operate together the sportsbooks business in Spain, maybe in commercial venues, such as in Madrid Community, where it is allowed by law, or though Internet.
