In the existing system, all communication between the provider and the operating personnel in hundreds of gambling rooms took place by phone in particular, and this was both cumbersome and costly.
With all gambling rooms being equipped with Payment Validation Units (PVUs), the new application uses the interactive video lottery terminals’ PVUs for communication within the central lottery system. It is divided into several blocks – Message (to create and distribute messages), Tasks (to distribute, edit and check tasks), Log (to check, monitor and archive transactions performed), Offer of Goods (to order goods and material) and Notifications (for permanent notifications).
PVU Messenger allows for sending messages from provider’s registered office to one or several gambling locations according to preset lists, as well as notifying a customer of sending a message via e-mail or SMS, and monitoring whether and when the message was received. All communication is two-way; the messages can also be sent by the operating personnel of all gambling rooms to the central system or to provider’s call centre.
It will be used in distributing commercial and operational information; handling questions from gambling rooms; generating tasks and monitoring their completion; receiving and handling complaints; ordering a return telephone call; monitoring problems and how they are resolved; as well as ordering goods, services or material.
The entire system is configured to communicate with various domains, which are used by the operator, establishments and database servers, and to facilitate the use of information by graphically distinguishing it by type, process status, validity or priority.
