However one market where Cashpoint is unable to provide this service is the UK because of broadcasting licences. Speaking at the Forbes show in September, Tassilo Tanzer told InterGame how the Czech Republic and the UK are both key focuses for the company.

"The Czech Republic is a bit easier to make your mark in as you're allowed to operate sports betting terminals pretty much anywhere and it is a relatively new concept - whereas the UK has a long history of sports betting."

Cashpoint, which has recently become a member of UK trade association BACTA, has, however, made serious inroads into the UK and its flagship store located in Bristol is hoped to open in the coming months.

Aiming to provide the adult gaming centre operator with an additional source of income, Cashpoint's Book in a Box product allows the operator to include a betting service in a location's mix of machines without having to know the ins and outs.

"We're giving operators new opportunities but we're the bookies, if you like," added Tanzer. "It takes all the hard work out. Our main obstacle is to make people aware we are about more than ATMs. The UK is a prime focus for us."
