(Czech Republic).- Alfastreet has introduced an automatic poker table into the Czech market, with a deal for an initial five machines now in place.

According to Miha Miklavcic of Alfastreet, poker is still in the early stages in the Czech Republic and up until two years ago there was no legislation to support the game, so it is a positive step that the government has recognised its worth in the industry.

Miklavcic added that automatic poker could draw new players into a casino or gaming hall and operators visiting the stand had been quick to see the product's potential.

The Alfastreet automatic poker table is also experiencing success in Goa, India and Mexico (where a total of 40 are now installed), and there is potential for the product in the UK.
