In Spain, Campbell was ILD Chief Information Officer. The company has already recognized they can’t meet deadlines for starting construction of Gran Scala that was scheduled for the second half of 2009, with the intention to opening a first part in 2012.
Jaume Riera, ILD spokesman, said that the workload that Campbell could develop in Zaragoza today is minimal, so he will undertake other tasks until his services were necessary again. Regarding the postponement of deadlines, Riera noted that it is secondary matter that could not be estimated until ending of legal procedures required by law.
The next step in the process of Gran Scala building will be in October, when ILD has to pay another four percent to the landowners of Ontiñena where will be located this leisure and gaming center.
