The text approved is the replacement made by representative Regis de Oliveira (PSC-SP) to the Bill 2254/07, in favour of the regulation of the gaming activity in the country, following  the already approved by the Commission of Finance and Tribute.

The editor made just a few changes and complied with the suggestion of keeping the minimum distance of 500 metres between games of chance venues and schools, although they had previously suggested that the distance should be of 100 meters.

The text also includes the allocation of part of the games of chance collection to Public Security. The previous text allocated resources only for Cultura, Sports and Health. Now, the proposal will be voted in plenary.
