Casino Superintendence (SCJ) received last Friday the request of operating society Casino de Juegos del Pacífico S.A. of San Antonio so the entity authorizes the transference of shares between IVISA and national businessman Gonzalo Torre, who has a 20% share in the operating society.
The demand of transference of shares is based in the Law Number 19.995, which says that “the stock of the society will not be able to transfer without the authorization of the Superintendence” (article 17, letter d); and it does not involve the incorporation of new shareholders, because it its demand, the operating society of casino San Antonio demands the authorization of a regulatory entity for Gonzalo Torre to sell the 20% of its shareholder participation –equivalent to 419,164 shares- to IVISA and to Gabriel Rosenzvit, withdrawing from the property of Casino de Juegos del Pacífico S.A.
IVISA group, belonging to Argentine family Rosenzvit, currently counts with the 80% of the final property of the operating society of casino San Antonio, which started operating last August 27th.
