Eurofootball supports football in Bulgaria

Moreover, for the third consecutive year, Eurofootball will be the Main Sponsor of the Bulgarian Football Professional League for the upcoming 2009/2010 season, being attributed the right to be named “Main sponsor of the Bulgarian football League”, “A” and “B” professional football groups for season 2009/2010”.

The financial support of Eurofootball to BFU will be used for the development of BFU and the national teams – training, camps, rehabilitation, friendly matches, bonuses, etc.  In addition, apart from the planned budget for the following years, Eurofootball has prepared premiums, in case the Bulgarian national team qualifies for the European Championship in Poland and Ukraine in 2012.

On its part, BFU will demonstrate its partnering relationship by having players from the national football team take part in the charity initiative “Go for sports!” of Eurofootball that is part of the corporate social project “Win & Help”, which will begin in September 2009 and will provide funds for the renovation of sports grounds.

On the occasion of the agreement a press conference was held in Sofia, where Mr. Nicolaos Arsenopoulos, CEO of Eurofootball, stated: “By signing this contract, Eurofootball continues, or rather upgrades and turns into a sustainable practice, its socially responsible policy to support Bulgarian sports.

In the season 2009/2010 Eurofootball will fund almost all football events in the country such as BFU and the national teams, Professional Football League, the match between the champion of Bulgaria and the holder of the Cup of Bulgaria, “Supercup Eurofootball – Bulgaria” and the International Youth Tournament Yuliyan Manzarov, the beach football tournament for amateurs. Also, Eurofootball finances football in Bulgaria through the commercials during football matches, portion of which is paid to the teams. Thus, I am proud to say that Eurofootball has become the official partner of football in Bulgaria”.
