The MGM partnership in question is with Pansy Ho, the daughter of a casino magnate who is allegedly linked to organized crime.

"We've made very clear that our partner is Pansy Ho, not her father," said an MGM Mirage spokesman. "Pansy has a long-established, hard-earned reputation of being a very responsible, very successful businessperson of very high integrity."

Meanwhile, MGM is bidding to build a video slots emporium in Queens, N.Y.
