Evoking Paris and its architecture, the new casino will include a five star hotel, the New World, with 301 rooms and 39 suites, developed by Chow Tai Fook Enterprises, Hong Kong businessman Cheng Yu-Tung's company.
Cheng also owns New World Development. The number of gambling tables has not been confirmed, but CEO Paul Tso said early last year that L’Arc will have 140 tables for the mass market, between 40 to 50 for the VIP segment and around 400 slot machines.
The opening of L'Arc will take the number of casinos run by Sociedade de Jogos de Macau to 18.
