Casinos’ July revenue up 4.7% St Louis area
Las Vegas-based Pinnacle Entertainment’s Lumiere Place saw July revenue of us$ 19.61 million, up 37 % from us$ 14.32 million in July 2008.
Pinnacle’s President Casino saw revenue in July of us$ 1.97 million, up 44 % from us$ 1.36 million last July. The President, moored on the Mississippi River north of the Gateway Arch, was closed July 1-15, 2008, due to flooding.
Ameristar Casino in St. Charles saw its revenue fall 2 % last month to us$ 26.13 million, compared to revenue of us$ 26.66 million in July 2008. Besides, Harrah’s Casino in Maryland Heights reported revenue of us$ 26.71 million last month, up 2 % from us$ 26.07 million in July 2008.
Argosy Alton reported July revenue of us$ 7.64 million, down nearly 2.6 % from us$ 7.84 million in July 2008. Finally, Casino Queen in East St. Louis reported July revenue of us$ 12.82 million, down 10.6 % from us$ 14.35 million last July.
