“If we take into account that ELA 2009 had 2000 square metres more floor space than ELA 2008, the results clearly show the brilliant success of the exhibition. We have heard from a great many exhibitors, at the fair and afterwards, most of you have enjoyed considerable commercial success at the event,” added Galindo.
ELA 2009 showcased the latest products aimed at the Mexican market for the country’s major buyers, with many important operators who attended from Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Panama, Dominican Republic, Peru, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay, Puerto Rico, the USA and Spain – many of who also attended the “2nd Ibero-American Meeting of Gaming Operators”, held on 23 July prior to the official inauguration of ELA 2009.
Later on, Galindo gave thanks to over 100 exhibitors and to the Mexican Association of Gaming Licensees (APJSAC), both for attending with their own stand and for the political support they showed for the event, a key factor in the success of ELA 2009.
ELA 2010 will be held again at the Centro Banamex on 6-7 May next year.
