IGT and Boyd Gaming sign MegaJackpots pact
The new machines will be in addition to the more than 800 MegaJackpots games already in operation at Boyd Gaming's 15 properties nationwide.
"We are excited to have the opportunity to continue to provide our vast array of great games to the Boyd Gaming locations," said Tom Mikulich, IGT's vice president of MegaJackpots.
"IGT continues to develop and operate some of the most entertaining products available that offer players some of the world's largest slot jackpots and great themes like Wheel of Fortune . Plus, we have a long list of exciting new products being released all the time," Mikulich added.
The installation of the additional MegaJackpots machines at Boyd Gaming properties is already underway and is scheduled for completion by the end of August.
The MegaJackpots branded machines include linked progressive machines such as Megabucks , eBay, Star Wars, The Price Is Right and multi-level progressives such as Fort Knox and Indiana Jones.
