This season’s APPT 2009 will kick off on August 24 at Macau’s Grand Lisboa Casino with a us$ 5,160 buy-in event featuring a 700-player cap over three flights. After a marathon twelve-hour final table at last season’s Macau event, Eddie Sabat took down the championship and 2009’s event is expected to be just as exciting.
The APPT 2009 will then move on to Seoul’s 7-Luck Casino from September 17 to 20 with a us$ 3,000 buy-in event featuring a 250-player cap. New Zealand’s SkyCity Casino in Auckland will host the third stop from October 14 to 18 with a 350-player cap event that will have a buy-in set closer to the competiton date.
The APPT has grown into the largest poker tour serving the growing Pacific Rim market and will wrap up ‘down under’ at Sydney’s StarCity Casino from December 1 to 6 with a us$ 4,920 buy-in tournament capped at 750 players.
