Court bans Unibet gambling in Netherlands

Lotto is the only organisation in the Netherlands to have a permit for organising sport betting. Unibet attracts Dutch gamblers with advertising featuring Dutch celebrities like Hugo Borst.
The court found in favour of Lotto last October already, and imposed high penalties on Unibet. The firm had appealed the ruling however.
