Penn's us$ 539 million proposal calls for spending us$ 385 million in the first phase that includes a casino with 2,500 slot machines and a 250-room hotel.
Speedway proposed spending us$ 521 million for a Hard Rock Hotel and Casino complex at the track that would be built in two phases.
The commission planned to hear from the three Sumner County applicants in the afternoon. It will decide June 25 how many applications to forward to a review board that will make the final selections.
