New York Senate approves electronic table games at racinos

The measure is being closely watched by the struggling Empire Resorts. Empire executives believe that such games can make the racino at the Monticello Gaming & Raceway more competitive with casinos in Pennsylvania.
Racinos only offer slots-like video gaming machines. The bill still needs to be passed by the Assembly.
