G2E Asia 2009, the premier gaming exhibition and conference event dedicated to the Asian markets, will be today, June 2, through Thursday, June 4, at the Cotai Strip CotaiExpo at the Venetian Macao.
Today’s highlights and special events include: G2E Asia Media Briefing, in which members of the media are invited to join show organizers and industry leaders for an overview of this year’s event, insights about the current state of the global gaming industry, and the announcement of the G2E Asia Scholarship Program, a program created in partnership with the University of Macau.

G2E Asia’s one-day Global Markets Forum, being held today, will provide attendees with a comprehensive perspective on the state of gaming throughout the pan-Asian region. Sessions include “Asian Operations: Gaming Across the Pacific Rim,” “Asian Opportunities: The Potential of New Gaming Jurisdictions,” “Lessons Learned: Re-making Macau,” and “Cooperation and Conflict: An Overview of Asia's Regulatory Environment.”
