Tabcorp submitted this in a proposition to the Productivity Commission, the government's independent research and advisory body, according to The Sydney Morning Herald.
The newspaper pointed that Tabcorp's submission said: "By lifting the financial administration to a national level, there is a greater likelihood that a uniform set of taxes and fees can be applied to all wagering operators."
